WORTH IT
Hey ladies. Just wanted to share some more pictures. All photos taken at 22 and 23 days post-op. I've also included pics of my incisions. Not much has changed, although they do seem like they are softening up quite a bit on the sides :)

Currently entering post op day 21! No pain,…
Currently entering post op day 21! No pain, just tightness when I do a bit too much and when going from laying to sitting up. I had another post-op appointment at 15 days post-op and was given the all clear to wear any bra which I find comfortable. I also had my steri-strips removed and I was told I can start using scar gel :)
Currently very happy with my new boobs, just anxiously waiting for them to settle fully. Most of my swelling has gone now, maybe even all of it, I'm not sure. How much do subfascial breast implants drop? Curious to know, as I haven't seen that many reviews on them!
The pics were taken at 15 days post-op :)

Congrats on your surgery! I also have implants over the muscle. If you have enough breast tissue I personally think it is the best place to put implants. After all why permanently impair your pectoral muscles (a major and significant muscle of your anatomy) if you don't have to? Unfortunately many doctors don't think it's a big deal to permanently impair a women's pectoral muscles. So I believe your doctor (a woman doctor I noticed) served you well.
Re dropping: It took about 10 weeks for me to notice a significant difference with the drop and fluff. If you care to check out I posted a photo progression in my 10 week showing the difference between seven and 10 weeks. Wishing you a smooth healing! :-)
Hey Mdlg5! Yes I agree with you on not impairing your pectoral muscles if you don't actually have to! I was meant to have them fully over the muscle but as I have very thin skin on my chest my doctor placed them under the fascia (just a tiny bit of extra padding).
Thank you for the info re dropping! I took a look at your photos and they definitely changed between weeks 7-10! They look great!
I wanted to ask, how long was it before they were soft and more natural?
A lot of the firmness and as you know is primarily due to all the swelling. I think you'll notice a significant difference by a couple months post op... and it should continue to improve from there. I think by 4 Months PO I feel pretty stable. Btw, I forgot to mention that you look great especially for 15 days post op!
Thank you so much! Xx
Hi! I just had my lift + augmentation done with Dr B as well. I noticed a tiny indentation as well. Did yours disappear? I am having a mini meltdown haha
Wow, 21 days out and your results look fantastic! Definitely takes a little bit to drop, but before you know it you’ll get there!

Post-op days 1-7 were a little…
Post-op days 1-7 were a little uncomfortable. My boobs felt really heavy as I wasn't used to feeling so much weight on my chest. Tried to remove the gauze on day 2 post-op but even after getting the gauze wet in the shower, it was still stuck on the left nipple a bit due to the dried blood and I got scared!! A little bit of the tape lifted up a little and I could kinda see fresh blood and I got super scared and just tried to dry the gauze. I left it there for a couple of hours before I got the courage to try again... this time successfully! By the way, removing the bra was scary!! I felt like my boobs were gonna fall off!! I certainly wasn't trying to do that again in a hurry!
First proper shower was had on post-op day 4 (partly due to my irrational fear that my boobs are gonna fall off if I leave the bra off for more than 30 seconds) it felt really good to freshen up, I'm sure my husband appreciated it too lol!
I had my first post-op appointment 8 days after my surgery this Monday just gone. Dr. Buthainah said she had to place my implants sub-fascial rather than straight "overs" as my skin was so thin. She would have preferred to go under the muscle but it just wasn't feasible. My boobs currently look a bit come-like and stick on due to swelling, it's starting to go down though thankfully! So I had my tape removed and the nurse cleaned me up, then Dr. Buthainah and the nurse removed my stitches as it had been over a week since my surgery (once again I was fearful of my implants falling out or my incisions coming apart lol) I had some new tape put on, and I have another appointment for next Monday (15 days post-op)
My only worry right now is with my right breast - I seem to have an indentation of some sort on the lower outside part?
