Update! So it's been little over a month and I am still trying to get used to them lol. Still haven't gotten sized and still haven't worn a bra :)
Uhmm am I the only one who is having major breakouts since their surgery? I am baffled at this chest acne and breakouts all over my face. I've never been one to suffer from skin problems--ever, so this is new and scary to me. I'll continue using my African black soap and Aveeno so pray for ya girl! Also my stretch marks!!!! Holy moly ! I have no idea where these came from!! So not only so I have no cleavage now :( but it's all tiger marks. I'm a little down about that but I swear I'm trying to be optimistic and let things fall into place. Maybe on my next post I'll show more of the scars (side, under, etc). Let me know! Talk to me ;)

Dr. Chatterjee is an excellent doctor. He really is great at his craft. I was often told my nurses that I was lucky to have him as my surgeon. He is very straight forward and wanted to answer all my questions. Sometimes in our consultations I felt a little rushed but I understood that he is very busy and he wanted to look out for both his and my own time. I wish there was more of an effort to check up on me after surgery but his office has always answered a cal/email from me. I would definitely recommend him!

hi!! your looking good! I did experience some acne, not sure what that was about. but it resolved itself quick. I’m on my 6th week post op. and I’ve been using biocornium on my incisions as per my PS. and it’s helped minimize the scars. I’ve also had some wound opening and on those I used scar strips and it’s helping them close up fast. I would ask your ps about tiger marks an what he would suggest for scar treatment. good luck! :))

Try an acne wash instead of the black soap.

There's definitely an adjustment period to the change, I'm sure! Hope that optimism is still working for you & you're feeling good!

Yes for African black soap! They have a lotion too! My stretch marks are in a weird pattern as well because they go a different direction than before. I’m only 3 weeks out but I have been using organic coconut oil a couple times a week on my incisions and am still wearing my micropore tape.

Hey! Thanks fro checking out my review! What's micropore tape? Also, I kinda strayed away from the African black soap...it started to make my break out terribly on my face and chest ( or maybe it was just my system and hormones outta wack). But usually it would be my holy grail but I had to start looking into other natural washes :/

However, I am happy that it works for you still!!!

Your girls look great tho the size and your nips are even. maybe the stretchies will fade a bit and soften up now there’s not so much strain on the breast.

Scar Revision!!!!

So on a lot of these posts, I don't see many follow ups on breast up keep so I'll do the honors of sharing mine! So it's been 2 months since my surgery and my doctor said I can start taking scar treatments and what not. Being the type of person I am and the way I was raised, first thought natural things like vitamin E, Shea butter, Cocoa Butter, etc etc would be my first option but when I talked to my doctor I realized he is the professional, not me lol . So I listened to him and got Biocorneum. I got it right at his office and for such a small pump it was $40! But I guess beauty is expensive! Now, you're suppose to use it twice a day everyday for at least 3months before you'll have to buy another bottle. I've been using it for a week now and I haven't seen too much improvement but I'm optimistic. Things take time ! So I will continue this journey. Oh! By the way my scars that bother me most are mainly on the side and down my areola.

hi! i'm 6 weeks post op and my PS put me right on it after my first week, i've never had surgery or know how long it takes for scars to start diminishing but I can tell you that mine are very thin. you can hardly see them. I think it works great.. just use a tiny amount. my first bottle I went through it in 2 weeks lol!! but Dr. said just a tiny bit goes along way.

2 weeks!?! Lol
Did you experience redness or 'puffiness' around your areola when you used biocorneum? I am experiencing that now but only around my areola, not on my sides or down the them. Just curious :)

First Post-Op

I met with my doctor today for my first post-op (ImSince my surgery I had nurses who came to my house to check on them). He said I could take the stops off in the shower (easier to take off) and I could lotion and let soap run on them. These pics are with some of the strips off, the other ones I was too scared LOL. He also told me about 600 grams was taken from each breast which means about 3lbs was removed!!! Doesn't seem like a lot but it feels like a lot off my shoulders. He also gave me the go ahead to work out (easy on the upper body exercises though) and not to left more than 15lbs. After surgery, I was advised not to lift more than 5lbs so that's good. I also got the go ahead to wear other bras ( sports bras, still no underwire). Not too sure how I feel about them now that I can really see them. I think I'll grow to love them LOL. I have another post-op in 3 weeks with him. He also told me that they will fully form to their 'right shape' in another 3 weeks. I am super excited !!! Also, I didn't touch on it before but I have FULL sensation in my nipples lol. As soon as I woke up from the surgery I felt them so I am very lucky. So far so good, no hiccups. Wish me continuous luck guys!!!!

Forgot to add: My doctor used dissolvable sutures and had also had glue under the steri strips.... the 'wet' look around my nipple is just dried glue which will come off after continued showering and such!

They look so good girl! I think the shape already looks great! They will "drop and fluff" after a while though, but you don't even look swollen! And that's great that you have full sensation. Mine are still pretty dull. They weren't very sensitive even before surgery though so I'm not too concerned about it, but a little bit would be nice!

Omg I need any to get mine done I am nervous about going with Dr. Chaturjee. What were your thoughts on him?

Hi!
To be honest, I wouldn't really recommend him to be honest. If I had to do this surgery again, I would not go back to him. The scarring is still there, even after 4 years. Also, my mother ended up going to him to get her reduction as well and the scarring is bad too. And my mother does not scar easily. She has always had fantastic skin and when she gets cuts they disappear rather quickly. Looking back at my experience, I think he rushed this process. All in all, I would look else where for a doctor. Hope this helps!
