my surgery was 6 hrs long. it went well . i have moderate amount of swelling and 4 drains. on the first day i spent the whole day sleeping i needed a lot of help they prescrbied me to take percoset every 4 hrs and its been balancing my pain very well. on the second day i was more aware of my surroundings and stayed up for a fare amount of time even though i kept falling asleep in between in results of the strong meds prescribed.on day 2 i had more pain then on the first day my pain level was 4 out of 10.my doctor called me early morning one day post op to check up on me and wanted to see me so i went in. he unwraped me and changed my dressings went over feauture dressing changing procedure. today is day 3 i am still bed bound but i have been taking more walks around the house about 3 times a day. my pain is well managed by pain meds no nausia or vomiting. its been hard to cough ive been unable to clean my throat aldaway, with no bowel movement since the day of the surgery. ive been taking dss around the clock for costipation and i took 30cc of m.o.m. with pending results. i will update with picture when i feel better i am still very much so under the effects of the strong meds and which i am very thankful for. my advicde to everyone is, take your meds on time and you will be just fine

finally had BM. feel so much better .
i can get on my own but only stay up few minutes at a time
i only take one tab of pain medications every 6 hours

Visited my Dr had my Dr today. He has been absolutely the best. So professional, helpful, good sense of humor everything to make you feel like you're getting the best treatment. His work is amazing. I still can't believe that I came out of this surgery with 0 bruises. My stitches looked lovely from the start
