4 months Post-op

I went to my fourth month post-op appointment and we took my after photos, and oh my goodness there is such a DRAMATIC difference! Docotor Sattler truly has done a phenomenal job on my breasts, and if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. My breasts are so much more striking now, than before. I also got a cute little gift bag with chocolate and coffee, which was so sweet. I have one more appointment in May for my one year post-op.

Everything is going great! I am so amazed at how soft they have already become, they're starting to feel much more like a real breast. I am still so happy I went to Dr. Sattler he really did a phenomenal job on me. The only thing I hate is when I bend over you can see some rippling, but I think later down the line I might do a little fat grafting to fill it in so you can't see it. I have to say I feel much better about my size now and am really glad I didn't go any bigger. It really was a psychological battle there for awhile, but my advice is to others is hang in there it will get better. I got what I wanted which is I can show them off at times and have them look huge, but also hide them a bit when I want too. The right breast is still a bit tight, but that's just due to it being a larger implant and I am dominate on my right side, also because of the dual plane technique it will take longer to heal. I tried getting back into working my chest, but it just doesn't feel right, and I tried to do some dips the other day, but that actually hurt, so no more dips for me. If any of you workout and you've had yours done, did it feel this way for you? I still wear my surgical bra to bed, I feel better with it on and it does offer a lot of support. Also I had to spend $100 on the thing I might as well get as much use as I can out of it. When I do go on a run I wear both my surgical bra and a sports bra over as it offers the most support and comfort. I also sleep on my stomach now from time to time. Another great thing is I can wear shirts now with no bra and you can't even tell I'm not wearing a bra, so that's awesome! I will post more pictures later, I've been a bit busy studying for my exam. All in all I don't regret anything and I am so glad I made this decision. (:

6 Weeks Post-op

I know it has been awhile, my apologies, I have just had a lot going on lately. Anways on to the boobs! Which is why you're here... I had my 6 week post-op appointment today and Dr. Sattler seems very pleased with the results so far, which he should be, he did such a phenomenal job. I still have days where I think they look too small, but I'm probably just crazy. Boob greed has been such a real thing for me. My boyfriend constantly tells me to quite being so hard on myself, and wishes I would quit talking about my breasts. I can't blame him there, as I look at them all the time and talk about them constantly. I mean how can I not? Am I right? I'm still waiting for the left breast to drop more and fill out more of my lower pole... Dr. Sattler says he expects my left breast to drop more, so fingers crossed. I still can't feel my right lower breasts or the nipple, however my right areola is very sensitive, along with my left breast and nipple. I want to take a quick moment to mention that if you get the dual plane technique level 2 or 3 it can take longer for the swelling, tenderness or sensation to return. Due to the doctor having to detach the muscle from the chest wall and breast tissue, it can take a little longer to feel back to normal. I just wanted to mention that. I was cleared to go back to running or lifting heavier objects. Oh, boy after 6 weeks of not running I'm excited to get back into it! I have my next appointment in September when I am four months post-op, and we will take my after pictures. And then I get to have my before and after pictures side by side, which of course I will share with you all. I stopped by Victoria Secret since it is right next to my doctor's office, how convenient right? I wanted to get sized. At first they sized me at a 34D which of course didn't fit, I'll save you the long drawn out version. I was eventually sized at a 34DDD. So, that's officially my size. Kind of already knew that, but I wanted to kill some time... My breasts are also a little more squishy and soft, but are still pretty hard and tender.
