Hey guy! It's been a while hahaha.
It's been 2 months since my surgery and I am so happy and grateful to say that it was a success! Yay! I really like the improvement, even though sometimes I feel like I should've gotten a bigger one. I like how different it made me look and at the same time how it didn't change me, since no one noticed!
The healing process, it was uncomfortable for me, because I chose to have it done through my bottom lip, what led me to 2 weeks of not being able to eat, speak and smile properly. But I expected it to happen, and I don't regret it, because I don't have any scaring at all. Now my smile is normal, I can eat and speak perfectly again.
I noticed some changes in my bottom lip after the surgery and realized it as due to the way my doctor sutured my lip back to place. He sutured them a little bit higher, what made my bottom lip come forward and up. I'm not mad about it, but that's something.
Other than that, every thing was just like expected!

Day one after surgery
The day after surgery was good. I woke up with moderate pain and more swelling as I anticipated. It was harder to eat and to speak, I started to feel a tightness on my neck so I wasn't able to move it comfortably. Now about the looks. I liked the projection it gave me, but I still feel like a bigger size would have fit me better. I also would like it to be a little wider, but don't get me wrong, I'm happy with it. Can't wait to see how it will look like once it's healed.

Day of surgery
The day of the surgery was way smoother than I anticipated. I had very little swelling the following hours but I had moderate pain but with the pain meds it was pretty tolerable. The implant was inserted from inside my mouth. I was able to eat with no big issues even though my bottom lip was very stiff. I have total sensitivity on my bottom lip and chin which is great since it is common to lose bottom lip and chin sensitivity in the days following the surgery. Now when it comes to the implant itself I feel like maybe it was not the right size. I'd like it to give me some more projection but it is too early to tell.
