42 Years Old, 2 Kids (Both C-section) with Terrible Post-babies Tummy - Richmond, AU

My journey started in the summer of 2013/2014...

My journey started in the summer of 2013/2014 whilst sitting on the beach when I finally decided to do something about my saggy, post pregnancy tummy that had been horribly stretched out after two pregnancies and two c-sections. Exercise had always been a big part of my life and I've always been an average 54kg person so this was not a weight issue. No amount of running, jumping, starving and winging  was going to shift the saggy skin and stubborn fat. I didn't know where to begin really so I started with my trusty friend-Google. I typed in 'plastic surgeon Melbourne' and then started with images!!! Not very professional I guess, but  I needed a 'trusty' face and not any odd looking person with a super hero tooth smile wearing an  asphyxiating tie, trying to sell me something and with questionable qualifications. The face I came across was the wonderful Mr Howard Webster.  I made the appointment through real self  and had a free consultation with him. I was excited and nervous at the same time because I couldn't believe that I finally had made the decision to do something for myself.  He was sooooo very lovely and listened to all my concerns and gave me his honest opinion. He was not pushy in any way and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I felt around him. As an added bonus I was introduced to his Personal Assistant-Tracy who is just one of the most beautiful, helpful, friendly people you could ever meet - so much so,I found that I could stay and chat with her all day!! After meeting Howard for the first time, I pretty much made the decision to go ahead with the abdominoplasty somewhere between leaving his office and before reaching my driveway. I got over the guilt of 'what else I could be doing with the money' and 'can I afford  this' very quickly. A date was locked in and off I went.
We decided on Linley clinic. I was greeted by a lovely nurse who made me feel very comfortable but it wasn't until I saw Howard that I felt at ease. When I woke up from the procedure I didn't look or feel 'flash' and it was baby steps after that for about a week. I stayed at Linley for about three days but the nurses there were very special and caring and so my stay there was a very pleasant one. Slowly but surely I recovered and the post care I received from Howard and his team was wonderful. Believe it or not, I only took three days off work and after that I just worked from home for about two weeks. I got back on my feet fairly quickly although I had to wear a support garment for about a month. I felt relief the day I took it off as I got sick of wearing it. Now a year and a half later and after having to go back for some liposuction just above the scar, (only because Howard thought it could look better) the result is amazing. I have not only a flat tummy but a very toned tummy. The scar is like a long pencil line that goes from hip to hip that is low enough to be hidden by my underwear. After the last visit with Howard I gave him an enormous hug I was so grateful and delighted with the outcome.  I feel great, I feel healthy and I feel more comfortable in my clothing. The need to wear oversized, strategically placed underwear that holds in my saggy tummy has gone. Looking back on photos before the surgery, I realise how bad it was but somehow you get used to feeling and looking a certain way. Choosing Howard Webster was the best decision I made. He's a skilled, experienced plastic surgeon, who is very much a perfectionist. He will do all he can to make sure you are happy with the result.
When it comes to procedures like this, it is important to know the qualifications of the surgeon. I most certainly am extremely pleased with mine.
