Buccal Fat Removal - 1 Day After - London, GB

Hi Claire, happy to help. I was surprised at how little fat comes out, but, it does make a difference. One of my cheeks is slightly more defined than the other, despite the same amount of fat coming out. I think you need to be prepared for some slight asymmetry. I also had an infection in one of my incisions, but it's all ok now. Dr Alexandrides was generally helpful, he talked me through the procedure as he went. The practices time keeping is pretty bad but that's about all I can fault them for!

From my research it does not seem that many surgeons in the UK perform this procedure which worries me slightly as there isnt the breadth of surgeon choice available compared to other procedures. I wasn't wowwed by 111....but then I value things like regular follow up calls, not being kept waiting long times and getting responses to emails within 24 hours (especially concerning infections and concerns). I am happy with my buccal fat procedure but I'm not 100%not happy with the other procedure I had which was laser assisted lipo on my chin and jowls. My face is uneven (check out my other reviews) even after 8 weeks. The swelling is gone, its just that more fat came out of one side than the other. Dr Alexandrides said it was normal but I think it looks a little odd! I would say go with 111, they werent bad and I think you could do a lot worse.

Hi, I would say less than that, they measured maybe 1cm x 1cm. Very small but its amazing the difference it made to my once round face! I'm very happy with the results.

Hiya, I paid £3,500. I chose 111 Harley street as the procedure isn't too mainstream and Dr Alexandrides came across as competent. I'm a gym bunny and was back exercising 7 days later. The doc will tell you 2 weeks but I was fine going back earlier. Weight training probably isn't a good idea while you have stitches but cardio and gently stuff you can do pretty much a week later

Hiya, I hadn't my op on Friday and I go back to work tomorrow. So 5 days. The swelling is still there and so the bruising, but I've found a good make up that hides it well. I'm just telling people I've had my wisdom teeth out!

Hi there. Yes I am happy, they are very subtle results at the moment. I can see a difference, but dont quite have Angelina Jolie's cheeks just yet! I think once my stitches dissolve and the last of the swelling subsides, I will see more change. I will be sure to post a photo at the end of week 3 :)

Hi there. Yes I keep meaning to update! I'm starting to see some results on my left side, but the incision point inside the right cheek has become infected. So it's swollen and quite sore. I emailed the nurse Tammy a photo so maybe she can get me some antibiotics. If the swelling subsides and my right cheek looks like my left then I will be very happy!
