A bit about me: Adult-acne case (Started at 23....
Here's something that finally works for me!: My treatment package included 4 ResurFX laser treatments and 4 SilkPeel sessions (1500 for the ResurFX and 399 for the SilkPeel). I was first given the SilkPeel dermainfusion which was essentially removing dead skin cells and impurities from the outermost layer of your skin while simultaneously "infusing" topical vitamins to treat your problem areas (Mine included acne-control for the chin/jawline and hydration for the rest). Afterwards I was presented with a small jar in which all my dead skin cells and impurities were collected, very satisfying feeling I must say. My skin was ultra smooth and glowy!
Next I was put on numbing cream before receiving the Resurfacing treatment. The pain was tolerable. My face looked very red for a few hours but the redness was completely gone the next day. I didn't see much improvement after the first treatment, but the change was very noticeable after the 2nd one. By the end of the 4th treatment, my acne had significantly subsided and a lot of scars were filled. Still have some deep pitted scars so I'm planning to come back for more treatments.
This whole acne thing has been an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Finally after 6 years, I don't need to wear a full face of makeup but just tinted moisturizer and some concealer are now enough. I'm very happy and looking forward to getting rid of my acne and (hopefully) scars once and for all :)
[Something extra to share: I've started making/drinking green smoothies about once a week. I feel great and my skin texture is a lot better too. So I would strongly suggest incorporating this to your diet as you're going through the treatments.]

Dr. Sung is awesome. From the moment I walked into his office, I felt at ease and engaged. My consultation with him was very informative and a lot of fun. He explained in details the procedures and all the science behind them, with added quirkiness of a science nerd (which I totally am!). During the course of my treatment, Dr. Sung was very attentive and his positivity was certainly contagious. At the beginning, he even offered me a free IPL just to make sure my acne was under control to maximize the effect of ResurFX. Per our conversations, I learned that Dr. Sung went through the same experience with acne as I, so he certainly relates to his patients and cares about our skins.
