Let us start with the pros first of all dr Melissa Johnson was very nice have very sweet and attentive lady , so I went in on my break time to have restaslin done for my undereye hollow, which gave me a tired look. Initially when I went in het assistant brought me in the room , then Dr Johnson PA came and took the product out, the product that THEY took out was a restAlyn but the wrong kind. So dr Melissa Johnson had to come and tell them basically the difference and where she wanted to place the products which makes a difference in the type of product to use.

So initially after I had my Restylane injections for my under eyes dr Melissa Johnson gave me multiple shots over by my left eye to fill it out I had a few bruises after the procedure, the next day after the procedure I had excessive swelling to the point where I looked Chinese bare in mind I am of African American descent. The swelling continued for around a week . I did everything to compress the area but swelling was there on the left In wich she gave me excessive Injection to the lower hollow part of my eyes. I developed a type of discoloration and the left eye was swollen you could see the product build up even though I massage the product . The buildup was still there.

I had the procedure on 12/23/15 and by January 23rd 2016 there was still swelling and discoloration to my left under eye I initially made an appointment so that they could see what was happening to my eyes I eventually got an appointment with the office on February 16th 2016 I showed them the swelling n the discoloration of where I got multiple injections the swelling and actually turn into an infection cuz it started getting red and very tender.

I saw Dr melissa johnson Pa, i voiced my concerns and told her that I was not pleasedan and that the fact that it was in my face which I cannot hide, no amount of makeup can hide the lump , the swelling and the discoloration that was there because of the Restylane injection the PA told me to ice it and continue to massage it I told her that initially after going on two months that I feel that massage would do me no good cuz I've been constantly doing that almost 2 months she gave me a prescription for antibiotics I asked her what could be done she told me that there was a product that could reverse it but I would have to pay for it....... hell no I'm not going to be paying for a product after I spend $700, there has to be some compromise , my right eye is perfect the other eyes like a monster so initially I am NOT pleased about my result the fact that it's in my face which cannot be hidden and the fact that they're telling me that I have to pay an extra $300 too perfect there wrongdoings is beyond me...

I had both eyes done almost 2 years ago. I still have swelling and dark circles. I did not have either prior. The product was Princess filler. At first the doctor was good giving pelleve skin tightening but she refused to dissolve the filler. I have recently spoken to a nurse friend of mine who has her own business offering Botox, fillers etc. She advised me that the filler was too close to the surface and may never dissolve. She also advised that the reason the Dr had refused to dissolve the filler with Hyaluronidase was because she had also administered filler to other areas of my face and therefore the Hyaluronidase could potentially dissolve other areas. I have put up with blue black bags for 2 years under an understanding that the problem would eventually correct itself. This was the doctor advice. In hindsight I would dissolve the product straight away as I now worry the skin has stretched and will not return to what it was. I would certainly not be willing, in your shoes, to pay for this when it could be the injectors error. My advice would be to sort it now. This problem has aged my eye area considerably. Good luck.

Sorry for your misfortune. I had mine done March 17, 2016. Some swelling up to a week, but gradually subsided. They wanted to give me 2 syringes, but I accepted only 1 syringe. A little under what I wanted, but better than too much. I will get a touchup in about a year. I go to skin & vein center, Dr. Siegle, Westland, Mi. Very sweet assistant who held my hands and rubbef my leg to calm me. ( I am a baby when it comes to needles).
