Dr, Pousti is THE BEST! I had 4 (yes 4) prior breast surgeries by different surgeons before Dr. Pousti: (1) initial augmentation (2) replacement for larger implants (3) capsular contracture; and (4) replacement of implants due to deflation. My most recent surgery left me with asymmetric breasts, significant scarring and/ over time. breasts that were "migrating" toward my armpits. I lived with these results for approximately 6 years before deciding to see if I could find a doctor with the expertise needed to address these issues. After conducting extensive research I scheduled appointments and interviewed three surgeons including Dr. Pousti. My entire initial consultation experience at Dr, Pousti's office was completely different from my experiences with the other surgeons. When I arrived for my appointment, I was warmly greeted by his staff, who made me feel welcome and valued. Dr. Pousti's gentle, kind demeanor immediately put me at ease. He emphatically listened to my myriad of concerns and offered tangible solutions (explaining each to me in-depth). Further,my physical examination was conducted in an extremely respectful manner. Based upon my research and my experience with Dr. Pousti, I requested he perform my surgery. The day before my surgery, his office called to remind me of my pre-op restrictions and Dr. Pousti took the time to speak with me as well. When I arrived at the surgical center he thoroughly reviewed the surgical plans. He even held my hand and spoke with me in the surgical room until I was under. My surgery was quite complicated, including replacement of implants, a breast lift, scar revision, pocket revision and an internal bra. Dr, Pousti's skills are amazing! My implant size is perfect for my frame, my breasts are in a youthful position and properly centered on my chest and my incisions lines are minimal (he was able to make all revisions through one incision in the crease at the bottom of each of my breasts). The pain after surgery was minimal,and well controlled with medication.Since surgery I have had two follow up appointments, his office has checked in with me via telephone every day and I even received a bouquet of flowers!. Dr. Pousti is hands down the kindest, most caring physician (of any specialization) I have encountered.. It is obvious that both he and his staff care about each and every patient on a personal level. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone considering breast surgery. I absolutely LOVE my result, Dr. Pousti is a truly gifted surgeon.
