I went back to work yesterday. I was very nervous, but no one commented at all! I think the changes are so obvious, but I find people are generally unobservant. I suppose that's a good thing since I didn't want anyone to know.
My energy level is back to normal, but I don't sleep well on my back. It's a struggle. I have a few places that still aren't healed in my incisions around my ears. The other areas are easy to cover with concealer. My hair is also a big help. The upper bleph incisions are a little worrisome. They are dark purple and extend out from my eyes. They are also sunken slightly, so they are a challenge to cover. I can see them quite clearly, but again, no one has commented. Two of my closest female co-workers would ask me without question if they noticed. My husband says I'm paranoid. Lol. I still am working on massaging the lumps at the inside corners of my eyes. I think they've improved some, but have a ways to go. They are hard to see in the pics.
I still swell some throughout the day, more on the left side. I can see it and feel it, but again it's not noticeable to others. I have a few hard places below my chin scar that I can feel, but not see.
I also still have very hard, numb places on the sides of my face that look lumpy. My hair conceals them well. I'm starting to get feeling back in some areas along my ears and jaw.
All in all I'm pretty happy with the changes. I'm not going to lie, it's surreal to look in the mirror and see somebody else. I'm sure I'll adjust to the changes, it will just take time.

So it's day 11. I did a lot of laundry and…

So it's day 11. I did a lot of laundry and cleaning today and didn't swell much, so that's a good thing.

I still have lumps on the inside corners of my eyes from the upper bleph. Dr. Harley thinks this will resolve soon with massage. I sure hope so!

I HATE the changes to RealSelf. It keeps posting my review and them not letting me add all of the pictures. Then it makes me write 200 characters to go back and add the picture. GRRRR! Very frustrating!
