Hi. PI have male pattern baldness Im 26 and Im a Norwood 5. Im currently on finasteride. I went to the dermatologist last week for skin issues and she prescribed me tretinoin cream for my face. Can Can tretinoin cream speed up male pattern baldness if I use it on my face? Ive read that retinol can do that. Why do oral retinols cause hair loss and topicals dont? Please answer all my questions. Thank you very much.
Hello. I'm male, 29 y. Fair Mediterranean skin type. My question: Is it safe to use chemical Sunscreens with Tretinoin? I read that Tretinoin thins out the outermost layer of the skin, the stratum corneum. I also read that chemical Sunscreens need an intact stratum corneum to work. Does using Tretinoin therefore render chemical Sunscreens ineffective or is it a safe combination? Thank you very much.
I have used tretnoin since I was 21 and I have amazing glass skin from it after being prescribed for skin issues. An injectior told me this that I was seeing about under eye filler since I've noticed lots of skin thinning there. I'm 26, is this true?
Hello, I use tretinoin regularly for years. I have fair skin. It is impossible to always wear sunblock at all times, especially during winter. after being oudoors for 5-10 minutes in UV index 2 weather, my skin gets redness and irritation for 12-24 hours. This is a mild sunburn. do mild sunburns have long-term consequences? I get these a few times per year
7 mo. ago I started using Retin A on face & neck. I started with .025 strength cream once a week, finally worked up to nightly use. 3 mo. ago I started using .05 strength using the same gradual frequency increase. With this strength, my neck lines got very itchy and deep red in color. It cleared up when I stopped use on my neck. (One of the lines on my neck has a scar). I've gotten minor improvement of the fine lines on my face, no improvement of my neck. Do I need stronger nightly use?
