About three and a half weeks ago, I was prescribed tretinoin .025% cream (once a day) clindamycin phosphate 1% (once a day) and also told to use PanOxyl 4% wash. I have not seen significant improvements and am worried. I was wondering how often to use PanOxyl--should I use it in the morning and at night? And should I use the Clindamycin with tretinoin or not? If so, which should go first?
I have pretty dry skin and I am trying to fix some sun damage around my eyes. I have mild acne and I use sulfacetamide 10/5 cream on areas where I suspect blemishes are arising. I have found washing only once a day at night helps my facial skin feel more comfortable. I am not sure though if I absolutely should wash off the retin-a in the morning even though I am using a spf 34 Skinmedica product during the day. Any professional opinions would be helpful.
This question is concerning body acne on the back, chest, and shoulders. My current routine is using a benzol peroxide foaming wash called PanOxyl and a light body lotion on my back, chest, and shoulders. I was wondering if it would be okay to use retin-A gel after? And do I use it to cover the entire affected areas or as a spot treatment? Lastly, is it okay to use a body lotion after using the wash?
It always seems to dry out like a face mask and then peel off but ive been told thats actually my skin peeling off as well. should i wash it or exfoliate after get rid of the tightness or anything? and what about a face mask like bentonite clay?
My doctor prescribed me Isotrex 0.05; I use it every third evening, & apply it approximately 20-30 minutes after I've washed my face. I use a pea-size amount which is enough to cover my entire face. However, I've noticed no dryness or peeling. Is it still working the way it should? I'm using it to treat blackheads, whiteheads, as well as wrinkles. Otherwise, my skin is normal, I don't have severe acne. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)
