I was prescribed Tretinoin 0.5% daily or maybe twice a day by my dermatologist to treat stretch marks that were beginning to form in areas showed in the picture. I experienced a bad rash and my skin kept flaking for a many, many months. New skin would form but it would be super thin. Doc covered up it as fungal infection. Anyway, now 2 years later I'm stuck with these patches. I would like to know my options and how much improvement I can expect from the treatments. South asian-- brown skin
I had a baby almost 2 months ago and Ive been putting on 0.0025% Retin-A cream for a month and a half and my stretch marks are getting so much worse. Is it one of those it gets worse before it gets better situations or should I stop using it?
I want to try retina-a on belly/arms stretch marks. I know it wont be miraculous but my stretch marks are still pink/reddish/blue color and im hoping it would help me heal them better. My question is what % is the best to use and how do i use it? Can i mix it with other cream like cocoa/shear butter? I will provide a picture of how they currently look. Thank you.
I am wondering if I can take a tube of Retin-a and mix it into a bottle of body lotion and use it all over my body? arms, legs, stomach.... Also, I am wondering if Rtain-a helps to improves cellulite on legs, stretch marks on hips, and/or large pores on face?
