I am about 1 week post Restylane injections. I felt a numbness all the way to my lip with the injection. Called ps and asked if nerve damage was possible. Nurse told me that is was not. The feeling came back about 6-7 hrs later in most areas. The next day I started having spells of numbness. This quickly turned into spells of intense pain and pressure. After a few days the ps did say it was nerve damage. I am being told that this is not permanent. Mentally it is taking its toll. Any advice?
I had Restylane in tear trough, nosalabial folds, 9wks ago had headaches and nerve pain in face such as tingling, pressure when lying down & like a cool water feeling running over certain parts of face, around my eyelids. Seen neurologist yesterday was put on amtriptyline for nerve pain. I am afraid of getting filler dissolved because of bee allergy and neurologist didn't know much about fillers and she couldn't tell me if this would be permanent or if filler would cause nerve compression.
I had dermal fillers injected into my glabella, tear trough, cheek and naso labial folds 2 weeks ago. Since the injections I have had visual problems in my right eye and pain in my right cheek and was given a steroid pack/antibiotics. I went 3 days post injections to the opthalmologist who said my eyes were healthy. Visual problems are persisting, like a numbness in the upper inside eye socket, makes me rub my eyes and pull at my lid. Has a nerve or blood supply been damaged? Is it permanent?
Hi,I got one injection of hyrialonic acid to the hollows of my cheeks, a week later I started to experience ear ache then teeth pain on one side of my face and eye twitching. I went to the dr who told me as I didn't have an ear infection and I should go to a dentist as I probably have a tooth abscess, which turned out I didn't. Since then the eye twitching has gone but now I have had severe pain in my teeth and cheek much like sharp electric nerve pains. Do you think it is permanent?
