About 8 years ago I had radiesse injected beneath my eyes. On one side there's a swelling that never went away. We have tried over the years to use other fillers to even it out on both sides. It has helped a tiny bit. You can see it pushes into the eye. It's especially bad when I smile with my teeth. I am very careful about my positioning and not smiling with my teeth. I read Dr karamanoukian response. He sounds so knowledgeable! I am hoping I can find someone in the San Francisco area
Hello. I have been experiencing very mild jowls . To help with this I recently got .7 of radiesse posterior and anteriorly to the area subtle area of laxity. I love my rn but he also threw in a small bead of radiesse in the area of the laxity to lift the Joel but now it looks more prominent. Good news it wasnt more that .1-.2 cc but enough yo emphasize it more. Any suggestions how to to either remove this or mask it? Will I need to do more around it till it starts to dissipate? How long lasts?
I have had filler in my face for 15 years. The last filler in my cheek I found out was Radiesse. Since my thyroid cancer my skin has been super sensitive and rejecting the filler so I went to try and have it removed. Now it is everywhere and feels more like rubber its super painful. I cannot find anyone to surgically remove it in Utah. What are my options
Hi, I had radiesse 4 months ago. It was misplaced high on my cheek bones where I did not want it. I have tried saline and massage 3+ times, to get rid of it but with little result. I had .2cc in one side and .6cc on the other. My questions are: 1. How long does radiesse actually last? 2. Does your tissue ever go completely back to baseline? 3. Does low dose kenalog (2.5-5) and 5fu still have atrophy risk? Thank you.
I had asked this question with my twice layered radiesse in my cheeks. I was under the impression that Radiesse has a gel carrier which the body dissolves in a few months after injecting, and leaves behind CaHA deposits which then create fibroblasts which build up collagen in the area and then the calcium deposits disintegrate over time and what is left is your body's own collagen. If you say the only way to remove Radiesse is to cut it out, then why after 5 years would it still be there? Thanks
I am very unhappy with the results of my Radiesse injections. Before the injections I looked 10 years younger than my 67 years. Now I look older than my 67 years. I am a very active person, working out rigorously at the gym daily. Will rigorous exercise expedite the dissolving process of the Radiesse? Also, considering my age, will my face return to it's youthful appearance once the Radiesse is dissolved or am I doomed to look older than my years now?
I have had Radiesse injected into my right cheek to reduce a crease. This was about 6 weeks ago, and although the additional volume has helped with the crease, I have red lumps at the injection sites (about 5 or 6). I have been told that these will reduce in time, but there is no sign yet. How long will it take before these lumps dissolve?
I had a chin inj. with radiesse in august 15. sadly it went wrong and the sides of my chin got thick+swollen. my doctor gave me cortison inj. to trim down the knots. now i got holes instead. also my jawline is uneven and looks like a double chin. is it possible to suck the lumps out? my doctor wants to fill up the wholes, but i feel like i want to get rid of the lups that make my jawline uneven first. i like to have a fine jawline, very straight like before. I marked my lumps red.
