Hello, I have been receiving laser hair removal (including face, genital areas) for 4 months. And Ive been using Vaseline and intensive restorative cream everyday but I searched the internet to moisturizing my body with natural way. And I saw a recipe for laser hair removal. 20 drops lavender oil. A cup of Coconut Oil A cup of Shea Butter And I just wanna learn is it okey for body hairs? Because I don't want it to revive my body hair roots?
So first had an incident with hyperpigmentation years ago when I shaved my buttocks and didnt do it properly with shaving cream, water and not with a nice razor. My entire butt broke out and later scarred and since then I have been struggling to get rid of the dark spots all over my butt. I started using hydroquinone from Amazon and other scrubs creams etc. as well as more natural creams like shea butter. I can tell it has faded slightly but it is still very clear.
I'm looking to have facial hair and body hair treated with laser for feminization. I know a lot of lasers can be problematic with darker skin types (Fitzpatrick IV-VI), so which devices and brands of laser would you recommend for dark skinned trans woman or nonbinary femme patient? Are there any special considerations to account for if I'm taking HRT?
I am a post operative trans woman, which means I do not produce testosterone anymore. I don't have fast regrowth but enough for a shadow. I know electrolysis is the permanent one, but it laser works for a long time *and* gets rid of shadow for a long time I feel its worth getting it done semi-periodically. If laser does not get rid of shadow it's not worth it. Shaving isn't a problem, it's the shadow left. This is so important to me but there are so many different kinds of treatments with different claims, and it's hard to research online because distinctions between electro and laser are not often made. Price ranges are all over the place. Is laser like lip injections, where you get it once every 8 months or so? I just really need to get rid of the lip shadow, that's all. Thank you in advance!
