I'm 35, 5'2, 105 lbs, wear a 32A and have pectus carinatum. My surgeon recommended textured cohesive gel implants, however my budget just won't allow for it right now. I do recognize the value of choosing the best implant for long term. I need to know, between saline and silicone smooth, which would be least likely to migrate laterally over time? Also is a larger and higher profile or smaller, moderate profile better for my frame? I measure at 14 cm.
Hey. I'm considering getting a breast augmentation to help improve the appearance of my pectus carinatum deformity. I am 22, am a size 36A (but don't really fill the cup), and a UK size 14/16. My breasts are not very full and tend to point outward due to my ribcage structure. I was wondering whether any surgeons in the UK have experience in dealing with this kind of situation and whether it would be a way to improve the aesthetic of my breasts. Any other general advice is greatly appreciated too!
I had breast augmentation just over one year ago, in hopes that this would disguise my pecus carinatum but it hasn't, and makes my chest deformity more noticeable. Would I still be able to have the corrective surgery for carinatum with my implants?
Went to my first BA consultation last week. Turns out, I have pectus carinatum. I've never even heard of this deformity. That would explain why my breasts drift to the sides, and seems like I have a bony chest. I want breast implants, and areola reduction really bad. I know I should be realistic, but it does make me a little sad that the doctor said I would not achieve a cleavage. I don't want to pay thousands of dollars to have the implants drift to the sides. HELP! I need more information
I'm planning a BA with a surgeon I trust, but to wanted to get other opinions on what implant would look best on my chest shape. I'm 5'2 113 pounds with a sternum that pokes out a little. He's thinking 300cc HP would look good on me. I'm slightly worried it won't look natural. I really want to camoflauge my bony chest, have the size breasts I had while nursing and not look extremely augmented. He said he thought moderate profile implant would look toward without giving me projection. Would you agree?
