I was reading how being allergic to the silicone breast implant is unlikely. How ever i get hive recurrences on my rt breast and only that one. They itch and raise. I also notices at the top areola of that one i can move something there, its kinda solid. If i push one side it goes up on the other side. No pain, no deformation. Any idea of what it might be??
2 weeks post op I started breaking out in hives daily. My dr insists its not from the implants but Ive never had hives in the past so its just too coincidental. Allergy meds lessen them but thy are always there and I dont want to live on allergy meds.
I had surgery on 27 October 2016. On 29 October I started seeing red hives appear on my legs then stomach back now my chest and face have them.. the doctor gave me a steroid to take for 6 days which ended up being 21 pills I got to day 3 and it spreaded more so now I went to the ER they gave me that steroid but a stronger dose and asked me could I possibly be allergic to my implants
I received breast implants one week ago from today, and 3 days ago broke out in a serious rash/hives all over my body and face. I realize this could be because of antibiotics but I have been off them for 3 days. Is it possible the breast implants can cause hives? Thanks
Hello, I had breast implants done in May 2014. In December of that same year I started developing hives. I have never had hives or allergies to anything in my life and even though I have had diabetes since I was 19 years old, I have lived a fairly healthy life. It is now February and the hives have pretty much taken over my life. I can't function. I can't sleep. I am at my wits end. Please help!!! Could I be allergic to the silicone implants?
