Hello! I have been getting botox for over a year now. I have recently started to notice that my sleep lines, if and when i get them, stay on my face longer. The other day, while at work, after I took my face sheild off, I had an indentation on my forehead. It eventually went away after a few hours. Is this normal? Thank you!
Indentation in head after years of Botox. Hi! A nervous wreck last year I noticed a slight indentation in my forehead near my scalp. Went to numerous drs, all told me it was nothing to be concerned with. A year later, I noticed after I allowed my Botox to fully wear off, that it is worse. Deeper. I can feel it and see it. Im panicking and extremely self conscience of this. I have gotten myself into. So, more drs. Two different dermatologist/rhuem they say its nothing. So scared!
I had my first ever Botox in my forehead and 11s in early May. I woke up yesterday with this very noticeable indent in my forehead. I assumed I just slept on it wrong but it hasnt gone away. I havent changed anything about my facial skincare routine. I did start fluocinonide 0.05% liquid on the back of my scalp for eczema and 0.05% cream for several eczema patches, but no other new products. Could this be related to the Botox wearing off or starting fluocinonide, and how can it be corrected?
Been getting botox for about 8 years in between eyes and upper forehead. Nothing on brow line because about a year ago i got eye pytosis in my left eye so i avoid it now. A little less then a year ago i noticed horizontal indent under my left eyebrow that sometimes extends closer to my inner eye. Is this from botox or not getting botox in that area? I hate it. Don't know how to fix it.
About 1.5y ago I got botox for my migraines and slight wrinkles on my forehead. About two months after the procedure I woke up and it felt like the frontalis was being pulled apart where the indent is My injector stated this was banding and should subside with more botox to freeze the overactive muscle. However nothing has helped. Ive gotten botox again since then after letting it wear off for 10~ months, and nothing has changed. It still hurts off and on. Im worried but cant find an answer
I thought I had slept funny, but it's been 5 hours, and it hasn't changed. I had botox about 3 months ago, but I never had any indentations on my forehead before getting botox. Could the botox wearing off be causing this? Thanks!
I have been having Botox for about 6 years, in the last year or so I now have developed 2 long indentations down my forehead. It literally feels like my skull is coming apart. Its very noticeable in the day light. I can run my finger along it from the top of my brow up to my hair line and it gets deeper and almost squidgy. I had a 7 months break from Botox which is where I noticed it even more, done some Botox but its now getting even more noticeable
I am a 30 yr old female. I have developed hard noduals at the injection site of botox. I then contracted covid and both noduals turnt in to large absesses. I have had both drained. Now one is still healing and the other lump has re appeared. As reactions are rare no one knows how to treat. I have been offered a steriod injection but do not want indents in my face. And do not want filler to be put in the dents. This has been going on 8 plus weeks now
I had my mentalis injected with Botox about 3 weeks ago, and since the treatment Ive been experiencing this odd dimpling and indentation. It happens whenever I attempt to contract my mentalis and I can see it whenever Im chewing, drinking, or talking. Im so self conscious and hate the way it looks. Is this something that can be fixed without compromising my lip depressors? Im so upset and incredibly self conscious
The injector injected a lot, more than Ive ever had in the past into the region above my eyebrows, part of the glabellar region left and right and when I raise my eyebrows there is an indent about a nickel size on the left and the right where she injected. When I relax my face you cant really notice anything. Was wondering will this get better as the Botox wears off? Basically this nurse injector injected too much in my opinion into small areas.
