I had lasiks (monovision) 4 weeks ago. How long until the blurriness goes away and will it?

Monovision can take some getting
used to, and some patients never get used to it. If you did monovision prior to surgery with contacts and
adapted well to that, you certainly should adapt to it with LASIK surgery. Most patients will adapt within 2-4
weeks, and 10% will not adapt at all.

Also, there may be an issue with
your correction. Is your distance
eye perfectly corrected? Is there
any residual refractive error (nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or
astigmatism) remaining? If you
cover your “near” eye, do you see clearly far away? If not, you may have some remaining refractive error in your
distance eye causing your troubles.
If this is the case, wait the full three months for visual stabilization
and then consider an enhancement on this distance eye if necessary.

And, your blur may be due to
dryness in the distance eye.
Severe postop dryness can be treated with artificial tears, nighttime
lubricating ointment, and prescription Restasis eyedrops.
