I used a skin lightening cream for 7 months in 2006-7 to get rid of a tan I didn't like. I now regret this and would like to recover my tan. I tried suntanning but it didn't work beyond sporadic freckling. A doctor who did a biopsy on my skin in January 2012 says there are a normal number of melanocytes on my forehead epidermis but virtually no melanin. He suggested UVB narrowband treatment. Could UVB narrowband reverse my hypopigmentation?
