Can Wearing Safety Lenses Glasses Affect Your Long Term Eyesight?

I am very unhappy with the results of my upper bleph so I am hiding behind a nice pair of glasses, they are safety optical lenses. This breaks up the appearance of the bad eye job, and I feel slightly less self conscious am not ready to even think of a revision yet. I have normal eye sight 20/20 and have never worn glasses before. Can I damage my eyesight in the long run if I wear this glasses everyday?

Problems after upper eyelid surgery

Safety glasses should not effect your normal vision.  As far as your result from the upper eyelid blepharoplasty, if it has been relatively recent surgery continue to massage your lids and make your surgeon aware of your concerns in a non-threatening manner.

Using safety glasses after upper blepharoplasty

The use of safety optical lenses in glasses will not affect your eyesight over time.  I'm not sure how long ago your upper blepharoplasty surgery was, but I would wait 6-12 months after the surgery before assessing your results.
