The short answer is no, elastics are not necessarily required to correct a crossbite with Invisalign. I have corrected multiple cases of crossbite and have never had to use elastics. Having said this, a consultation with your Invisalign provider will better answer this question. Invisalign is a great option for treating orthodontic cases for those who prefer not to wear braces.
