Is Radiesse safe and does it move from where its injected? Read someones post who said it can leave the face and travel around tge body as it is calcium so this deeply concerns me. Thanks

Hello, my name is Dr. Burko and I am a Plastic Surgeon at SY Aesthetics in NYC. Radiesse is made up of calcium hydroxylapatite which is a biocampatibile material so it is generally quite safe to use as the body doesn't recognize it as a foreign material. In my experience, I have not had Radiesse travel or moved from where it is injected. Sometimes, small nodules of Radiesse may form at the injection site.My recommendation is to see a trained plastic surgeon who can assess you and give you their best recommendation.
