Hyperpigmentation almost 2 years after upper bleph, thoughts? (Photo)

Mestizo. My two year anniversary will be in April of ‘24. I have a incomplete blink (slow-mo video on my profile) and my eyes fall open at night, exposing my cornea. I lubricate daily and use gel at night in addition to taping my eyes shut (since my boyfriend told me about above). Vision has gotten worse but manageable. Dr cut muscle and fat and in my opinion too much skin, stretching too thin, “making my vessels pop through.” He would like to treat them with an IPL laser. Thoughts?

Sorry to say nothing works for hemosiderin deposits. We have used IPL, lasers of various wavelengths, and Q switched laser (used for tattoo removal) with minimal improvement .

Hi there, thank you for your question. A good rule of thumb to follow is to discontinue the use of Retin-A approximately 5-7d prior to your IPL treatment, and can resume use again between 5-7d post IPL treatment. If you still feel hypersensitive with 7d off then you may need to take more days...
