Medik8 Retinol RT3 night serum. Any suggestions?

Use the retinol from mid May this year and have well a pigment mustache. During the day I protect my skin daily. What should I do? How long does this works as I stop with this product

Thank you for your question Patriziat. Melasma is a condition characterized by the appearance of dark patches on the skin, commonly seen on the forehead, cheeks, and upper lip. The best treatment is a combination of topical products with treatments in the office. Products that help with melasma include hydroquinone, kojic acid, retinoids, vitamins C and E, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, arbutin, licorice extract, green tea extract, and bearberry. Treatment options include chemical peels, microdermabrasion, IPL, laser resurfacing, and fractional laser resurfacing. Melasma is a condition we control, not cure, so continued maintenance will be required. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
