Has this procedure been done on any dark skin or black patients? Will this remove dark blemishes?

Better lasers for pigment in darker skin types.

Yes, this can be used on dark skin patients, however the best lasers are picosecond or Q switch lasers for pigmentation. This can be combined with bleaching creams. Erbium will give you less PIH than a Co2, but other types of lasers will be even better than erbium lasers for YOUR concerns. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.

Profractional treatments

Thank you for your question.

The Profractional is a deep resurfacing laser. It can be used on all skin types.  The main indications are for acne scarring, old scars, and aging skin.  In my experience it does not do anything to change the pigment of the skin.
