Tip swelling at 7 months post op

Thank you for your query.Swelling following a rhinoplasty procedure takes a full year to eventually settle. You've got 5 more months for the swelling to settle. It feels like a long time but this will eventually come to pass.Hope that helps.

Nasal tip swelling after rhinoplasty

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. It is normal to have swelling for up to a year after rhinoplasty, especially at the nasal tip. Make sure you continue to follow up with your rhinoplasty surgeon throughout the entire healing process. Your surgeon will keep you informed of how your healing is progressing. If the result is not optimum after the healing process is complete you should discuss options for revision surgery with your surgeon. For now, try to stay patient. Your nose should continue to improve over the next few months. Good luck, Dr. Harmych

Swollen Tip 7months post op

Hi Nily.ox,At 7 months post op, there is still a chance that residual swelling will go down, but if you are really concerned about this, you may discuss a conservative steroid injection with your surgeon, if it really concerns you.

Please get in a contact with your doctor

Please get in a contact with your doctor. Please wait 5 more months but during that time be in touch with your doctor. Maybe your doctor can make small treatment later on. Best wishes

Nasal tip swelling after rhinoplasty

Swelling of the nasal tip after a rhinoplasty is common and can take up to a full year to full resolve. In some cases, steroid injections can help treat this. I would recommend seeing your surgeon for a follow-up to evaluate. Good luck!

Tip Swelling after Rhinopasty

The swelling in your nasal tip may be due to scarring or swelling.  There are 2 injections that can be performed to help with both swelling and scarring.  Kenlog and/or 5-fluorouracil can be used to help make this better. The injections can be done every upto every 4-6 weeks and may have a dramatic impact on your results. Hope this helps!  Dr. Sajan

Tip swelling

To some extent yes, especially with an open approach.  Steriods injected into the tip can help decrease it.  Ask you doctor.
