Thank you for the question. Each doctor has his or her own advice on post operation treatment. It would be best to follow your plastic surgeon's recommendations. Best of luck, Dr. Michael Omidi.
Since each surgeon has his or her own post op protocol, I would advice you to follow your surgeon's advice. Some suggest massage or a breast belt while others do not. There is not right or wrong answer. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Hi & thank you for your question photo.
I suggest contacting your surgeon for your post operative instructions. He/she may not want you massaging the breasts at all.Your result looks great! Best of luck and enjoy.
It is best to speak to your PS on massaging recommendations. Typically there it is not necessary to massage when textured implants are used.
Depending on the type and texture versus not textured surface of the breast implant, some plastic surgeons may recommend massage and others may not for either submuscular or subcutaneous breast implants. I would ask your operating surgeon with your preferences based on the surgery may have done on you. So far the results look great.
Please call your surgeon's office and speak to his/her nurse about all your post operative care. Every surgeon has a different routine based on what type of implant you received. Many surgeons do not want their patients massaging textured implants.
I do not have my patients massage if they have textured implants. Please discuss your concerns and questions with your chosen surgeon.
