My BA PS does not recommend much post-op medication and encourages movement soon after (with weight restrictions) -any opinions?

My PS does/recommends the following (275cc via infra-mammary incision inserted dual-plane). B4/during surgery: general anaesthetic + local injected, atraumatic technique w/ diathermy, 1x antibiotics, irrigation w/ 3x-antibiotic. Post-op: only paracetamol w/ Codeine as needed, no restriction on arm raise, gentle movement exercises, shower day 1, removal of sutres 10 days. Views on the foregoing re what my recovery will be like in general (noting that everyone responds differently to surgery)?

I appreciate your question.
I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon as every surgeon has their own respective post op protocol for his/her patients. Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you will be healing following surgery.
The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.
Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.
Best of luck!
