Nostrils flare when I sing, can rhinoplasty help reduce this?

I like singing, but when I sing my nostrils flare. I do not have a nasal sound. I want to know if I get a rhinoplasty can it help keep my nostrils from flaring. I have a wide nose that gets wider when I smile as well.

Nostril flaring while singing

Many times the nostrils flare when smiling, laughing, or singing due to slightly overactive nasal muscles.  This action can be decreased with an alarplasty, or alar base resections.  Consult with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon who will accurately assess your nose and develop a plan that best suits your needs.
