I Had a Tummy Tuck 24 Days Ago. Is It Ok to Do a Toning Class on Day 26?

No strenuous exercise 3 weeks after tummy tuck

At only 3-4 weeks after a tummy tuck, you could have extra swelling, bleeding, or loss of the tightening of the muscle layer if you do too much too soon. You should be able to walk at a brisk pace and begin light exercise at this point, but you need to check with your surgeon before increasing your activity at all.

Exercise After Tummy Tuck

Cardio or aerobic exercises should be fine on day 26. However, if the muscles were sutured together (correction of diastasis), then exercises directed at core strengthening (sit-ups, Pilates, exercises specifically directed at core muscles) should be avoided for 8 – 10 weeks from the day of surgery.

Exercise After Tummy Tuck

It would be best to ask your surgeon their specific post operative regimen. Your don't want to do to much to soon or you may have a complication. Good Luck.

Toning Class on Day 26?

This question is more appropriately asked of your surgeon, who knows you, knows what was done, and has followed your recovery. If he/she doesn't know what the class involves, you can explain.

All the best.

Tummy tuck and toning class

I think that it is important to ask your surgeon what he prefers in terms of post-op activity level. Every surgeon is different.
