My Invisalign chewie hurts a lot.

I'm on my second tray. Despite a very strict >22h a day, my front tooth (the one that is almost completely on top of her neighbor) has a 2mm air gap. Not the worst, but it's only the second tray and I don't want it to get progressively worse. So I got some chewies, and biting n it definitely helps reducing the gap. However, it hurts a lot and I even feels like my tooth is moving inside my gum. Is that possible? Could I be doing more arm than good? Thank you!
