I'm a woman in my late 20s seeking jaw augmentation with implants. I had a consultation with a surgeon and feel very confident about going forward with the procedure but I'm not sure which implant material to select. My first choice was Medpore but was advised against it because of the probability that it will look too masculine. My surgeon recommeds either Goretex or Silastic implants, with Goretex being his preferece. Im afraid of late onset infection with Goretex. Please help me decide.
