But by having such a high astigmatism what are the odds of being eligible for PRK or LASIK? If not anything I can do such as a Toric lens? I don't want to give up a dream job Of policing for this. Prescription R:+0.25 s -6.75 CYL 002 Axis L:+1.00 S -7.00 CYL 178 Axis. I’m not sure of my cornea thickness yet My appointment is a month away.

you're way past treatment parameters for LASIK, your astigmatism wouldn't be corrected much
if you got PRK it would be very painful and again your correction would regress, leaving you with astigmatism
your only solution is to do LASEK and then it would get rid of most of your astigmatism, but you must go to a surgeon who has performed at least 1000 LASEKs and would use MMC intraoperatively or you will scar
you could also do LASIK + a toric ICL but that's 2 operations and twice as much and more risky than LASEK

You could potentially be a good candidate for PRK.  A lot will depend upon your corneal steepness and thickness.  If you do qualify, you should go into it with reasonable expectations.  You may need more than one treatment to get your best result, and even then, you might get your sharpest and clearest vision by wearing an astigmatism correcting contact lens.
