Curious about rhinoplasty - recommendations? (Photos)

I've been considering having rhinoplasty for many many years now. I know what I'd personally like to have done, but I'd also like professional opinions on whether I'm a good candidate for rhinoplasty, and what changes would improve the look of my nose and make for a more balanced appearance while maintaining a natural look. Thanks.

Recommendations for your rhinoplasty

Hi Nyoshi.  After looking at your pictures I think you would be a goodcandidate for a rhinoplasty.. The procedure would lower the b ridge of your nose and narrow the nasal bones and tip.  Overall you nose would be smaller and more refined.  The only negative that I see is that the skin at the tip is thicker than average. This may limit how refined the tip can be. To give the besy results, mainly in the tip I would use an open approach.

A  rhinoplasty can be done to refine your tip and remove the hump to provide a more feminine look that is proportional to your surrounding facial features but what is it about your nose that you don't like? Consult with a rhinoplasty specialist who can discuss your goals, show you results that you like, and explain the procedure.

Know what you don't like about your nose.

When going to a rhinoplasty consultation with a surgeon, make sure you know specifically what bothers you about your nose. Computer imaging can help clarify that discussion with your physician. As surgeons, we can tell you what WE don't like about your nose, but the most important goal in rhinoplasty is to treat what bothers YOU. I recommend you have a few consultations with experienced rhinoplasty surgeons and have computer imaging done. This will help you formulate a plan.

A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish straightening and narrowing the bridge line, refining the nasal tip cartilages slightly, shaving down the dorsal hump with all of the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. Rhinoplasty is a difficult endeavor, so choose your surgeon very wisely based on extensive experience producing natural results consistently. Digital computer imaging can also  give patients an idea of what may or may not be accomplished with a rhinoplasty procedure on their facial features

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. You may also benefit from a conservative dorsal hump reduction.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.

Best wishes and good luck.

Thank you very much for sharing your concerns with us.
Through rhinoplasty we make small changes, but that is quite noticeable.

After having analyzed all the info. and photos provided to us, i recommend you perform a Full Rhinoplasty, includding narrowing of the nasal base, with nasal bones treatment, and alar and triangular nasal cartilages shaping.
With this procedure you get a delicate nose, better harmonize with your other facial features.

Tip refinement with subtle dorsal reduction through a closed approach would be reasonable, but rhinoplasty is more so about what you want.

I think that it would be very important for you to be seen in person and tell your surgeon what you are hoping to achieve.
