How Much For Multiple Procedures in Toronto or GTA?

Hello All, I live in Toronto Canada. I'm 25, 5'0 and weigh 155 pounds. 155 is a weight that I can maintain. I know this makes me overweight/obese, however, going lower than 150 pounds has resulted in my gaining weight. My question is how much these procedures will cost me in Toronto. By procedures I'm referring to a Tummy Tuck, Liposuction of the Back and Arms, A Breast Reduction and A Brazilian Butt Lift. My Cap is $19,000. Is this possible or should I go elsewhere, such as the USA ? Thanks

Estimated Costs for a Mommy Makeover and Seeking a Board-Certified Surgeon

The Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures to bring a woman’s body back to the way she looked prior to pregnancy. Most commonly some variation of a #TummyTuck and #BreastSurgery are performed. Additional procedures can include liposuction, umbilical hernia repair.  The most common #breastprocedures include #mastopexy or #breastlift, #breastaugmentation, or #breastreduction.

The costs of a #Mommy Makeover will depend on several factors. Such include the geographic location, the skill and experience of the surgeon, and operating room and anesthesia fees. Approximate #costs can be found here on the Real Self website,, or Also, the costs are contingent on the specific #procedures being combined in the operation. Such will be discussed in greater length during your one-on-one consultation. Also, such #combined operations are often performed with our Gynecology colleagues. Tubal ligation is a common post pregnancy procedure which is done at the time of many of the surgeries included with Mommy Makeovers. Therefore, if you require a gynecologic operation or study (laparoscopy) and are considering a plastic surgery procedure, discuss these issues with your doctor. Combining these procedures decreases anesthetics, costs, and recovery time.

Your procedures should be performed by a #PlasticSurgeon who is board-certified and has a great deal of experience specializing in cosmetic #surgery. You will then greatly improve your chances of getting the result you desire, and, without the need for a revision surgery. It is suggested that you look at before and after photos of the surgeons actual patients, and read patient reviews. Gathering all of this information will help you make a well-informed decision.

It certainly could be possible but it would depend on several factors, most importantly, whether it would be safe to do so many procedures on you at once. The breast reduction may be covered by OHIP insurance if you meet certain criteria. The only way to know that would be a in-person medical history and physical examination. In terms of travelling elsewhere, this could be risky. If you are going to the US to see a board-certified plastic surgeon then chances are your surgery will be perfectly safe, but followup will be difficult since you don't live near your surgeon. If you travel to another part of the world for low-cost surgery then it is truly buyer-beware and the potential consequences can be devastating, even deadly as seen in the hundreds of news stories detailing plastic surgery tourism nightmares. The best place to start is to see a Royal College certified plastic surgeon in the area for a consultation.

Thank you for the question.
You will find that the cost of surgery will differ from one geographic area to another, as well as from one practice to another.  You will also find that the cost of surgery vary  depending on exactly what procedure is recommended/performed. You will find average costs of procedures listed on this website and individual plastic surgeons websites as well.

You will be best off doing your due diligence carefully in the selection of your plastic surgeon.  Only in person consultation will provide you with the detailed information you should obtain prior to making any decisions about proceeding with surgery.

You will find,  while doing your due diligence,  that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you;  again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery;  keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways.

I hope this helps.

Hi Incepto,

It should be possible, although it will depend on a number of factors.  You should know that breast reductions are usually covered by OHIP.  The best way to determine the cost for the other procedures is to see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area.  They can offer you a quote for any or all of your requested procedures.

All of these items can likely be done within your budget.  My preference is to perform the Brazilian buttlift and tummy tuck at different times, but there is some flexibility there based upon anatomy and individual desires.  Find the board certified plastic surgeon with the best credentials to meet your needs.
