Do I need to have 4 bicuspid extractions for my orthodontic treatment? (Photo)

I was told that I would require 4 teeth removed, specifically my premolars in order to straighten. Do you think it is necessary?

Ideally, no extractions should be done in as many cases as possible. But it depends if you have severe crowding or not. Often the orthodontist finds it 'simpler' to extract teeth to 'give room' but the extractions lose upper lip support, narrow the smile, and change the lower lip and labiomental fold too. Talk to a couple of them to get more information
