I had the back of my hand injected 15 years ago by a filler product that I don't know . NO problem, until last year, it swollen like an elephant but when it subsides , it WRINKLED terribly . MY questions are, first can doctor check what filler was injected and can it be removed by operation? Second question, can I do another hand filler again ? Wont there be any reaction! PLease advice
It is unlikely that a doctor can find out what filler was used 15 years ago. I would suggest considering autologous fat as an option for hand rejuvenation which illuminates the risk of foreign body reaction.
