I would like to get laser eye surgery to correct my vision (about -4.5 or -5.0 with a slight astigmatism). I am extremely concerned about complications especially severe and prolonged dry eyes as well as poor night vision. Now when I wear my hard lenses, I get halos and starbursts while driving at night (on dark roads) and when watching TV in a very dark room.I was told that I have thin corneas, large pupils and very dry eyes (although they don't bother me now that I'm wearing my glasses.
If I Have Thin Corneas (500 Micrometers), Large Pupils (8mm), Dry Eyes, Allergies, Can I Get Lasek?
