What is the Most Reputable Eye Surgery Certification, if Any?

And what organization or press claims this is the case?

The most reputable certification for LASIK is a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery.  This would follow an ophthalmology residency and graduation from a board-certified medical school.

Many ophthalmologists (and even some general practice medical doctors and optometrists in some states) perform laser vision correction who are not fellowship trained refractive surgeons.

Another important qualification would be the experience level of the surgeon and the quality of the laser system and LASIK technology.

The universally recognized gold standard is Board Certification by the American Academy. Most other certifications are primarily marketing gimmicks.

If you are asking in reference to refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK/ICL) then surgeons who are fellowship trained in corneal and refractive surgery are what you should look for.
