How Does the Radio Frequency Technology Work in a TriPollar RF Treatment?

Doctor Answers 2

Heat tightens collages and shrinks fat cells in TriPollar Treatment.

The radiofrequency is delivered into the superficial layers of the skin and deeper subcutaneous tissue through three electrodes. The heat from the radiofrequency tightens the collagen in the skin and stimulates new collagen to be produced. The heat also shrinks the fat cells producing circumference reduction and an improvement in cellulite.

The RF energy comes from the poles on the hand piece

Thanks for the question. The radiofrequency (RF) energy that comes from the poles on the hand piece is delivered into the skin to cause destruction via heat of the collagen in the treatment area. This then stimulates the growth of new collagen in the area, which helps strengthen and tighten the skin that is treated. This helps with skin tightening, body contouring, and cellulite reduction in the area. You should always consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to learn how these would work for you and how best to deal with your concerns.
