Is the Numbess and Pain I Feel Around the Drains After BR Normal?

I had BR 6 days ago. My drains are collecting more than 30 ccs a day, so the doctor decided to leave them until the drainage falls below 30 cc. The are around the drain and towards my back feels numb and it is painful. Is that normal?
