PicoSure+ Fractional CO2 (Photo)

Got an atrophic scar,i got myself 3 picosure focus spaced 2 weeks apart. I got some raise and borders are softer but pico is expensive & doctor just insist on this tx.Now, i am finding a more affordable treatment so i went to a new doctor. She will start me with fractional co2, 1st session will be 4 weeks post my 3rd pico session. My question is, will i have significant result on my 1st co2 since i already had 3 pico focus tx? How is picosure focus and fractional co2 differ in terms of results?

Fractional CO2

I could see fractional CO2 laser working better than Picosure on this type of scar. I would do few laser sessions and then filler followed by a chemical peel. Good luck!

CO2 or insulated RF microneedling over Picosure.

I use all 3 devices, and for this scar my preference would be INFINI RF microneedling, over CO2. Picosure FOCUS even at the maximal 6 mm spot 0.71 will not give a good result. Personally I would aim for 2-3 INFINI or Co2 Fractional sessions, followed by 1-2 filling sessions. That would give a good improvement in your scars. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Dermatologist. In my experience CO2 always gives better results in atrophic depressed scars. The picosure has a handpiece called FOCUS that can help with texture and acne scars but in my opinion will not replace the CO2. If all you have is a hammer then everything looks like a nail!
