Hi there,The price can vary quite a bit depending on who you see and what area you live in. The nice thing about an implant is that the procedure is lengthy and spread out, so typically the financial burden is not all at once. The tooth may need to be taken out and a bone graft may need to be placed. If that's the case, there is a period of healing that has to occur before the implant goes in. Once an implant is placed, that has to heal before your final parts that make it look like a tooth again go on.Best of luck!

The cost may vary depending on if any bone grafting is needed. Also the type of surgeon and experience of the Doctor often will have variations in cost. In addition your location will have an effect on the cost. For a board certified oral surgeon in the Phoenix area the range is usually around $2500 for an extraction and implant. This does not include any bone grafting if needed or sedation if desired. Beware of "discount" doctors and "discount" dental implants
