EndyMed Intensif RF - are the bad side effects due to excess heat or bad practitioner?

The EndyMed RF is a very effective treatment for acne scarring.  The device provides precise settings for the practitioner for optimum results.  However, with all procedures there are risks that you should be aware of before deciding to go forth with the treatment.  I suggest you meet with your provider for a consultation to discuss your concerns prior to treatment.

RF is a very safe and effective treatment use for scar revisions, skin tightening, and skin resurfacing.  EndyMed manufactures a very good system.Treatments can sometimes generate a lot of energy.  In the process underlying fat cell can be damaged and lead to atrophy (shrinking).An experienced and qualified provider will be able to provide a safe and effective treatment, while minimizing the risk of side effects.

ALWAYS find a method to treat the scar type. It is NEVER NEVER about the device but the method for the scar type. I have many RF and microneeding devices, all of which serve a purpose, RF with eMatrix for early scars, Profound for jowls (not a great device), INFINI for bad acne scars (tethered mixed atrophic, box car) and Intensif for fibrotic scars where the solenoid of the Infini is too weak. Intensif, like any other device is operator dependent. If one dwells and pulse stacks with a dozen treatments ie. 200/ 200 , atrophy may develop, impossible to comment as It is outside of my control. As for the nose, there is little fat in the area, mainly fibrous tissue, hence safety in this area is more cf temples. Dr Davin Lim. Best see a Dermatologist in your area and not a Cosmetic GP.
