Swelling in recipient area

This unfortunately is a consequence of having surgery near the forehead. I use a large dose of steroid which may eliminate or reduce the amount of swelling after a surgery

What to do about swelling after hair transplants?

Swelling is quite typical after hair transplants and usually lasts less than 1 week.  A medrol dose pack can be used to decrease the swelling as well as ice therapy to the area however, you should ask your hair transplant surgeon for specific post op instructions.
