Best and latest treatment for frontal fibrosing alopecia?

Question

I have been diagnoseded with FFA a year ago . I have lost my eyebrows, a band in the frontal hairline (1 cm and temples 4 cm) and most of my bodyhair. I´m on Doxycyline, Plaquenil, Finasteride and topical corticoids (Dermovate) . Progression of hairloss is very slow. but inflammation is still active. Is there a doctor somewhere out in the world that have access to the latest treatment for this condition

You are using some of the most effective treatments. Be sure to connect with a physician who sees patients with FFA in large numbers. Other options for FFA that one may either ADD or SUBSTITUTE include the following: topical calcineurin inhibitors (pimecrolimus, tacrolimus), steroid injections, oral methotrexate, oral mycophenolate mofetil. 308 nm laser also remains a less explored option.Doxycycline, finasteride (and dutasteride) and Plaquenil are at the very top of the list of FFA optikns.  Other than these listed here, we know of no other convincing good therapies.
