Can Non Surgical Nose Job Done Endonasally Make Things Worse?

What complications can occur if fillers are injected from inside the nose? Can this approach damage the cartilaginous framework of the lower half of nose?

Dear Maria,

There is no advantage to injecting the fillers endonasally as there will be no visible signs of the injections when done from the outside

I agree with Dr Naderi that you may be at increased risk of infection as there is a lot of bacteria that live within the nose

A qualified rhinoplasty surgeon should be seen so that your nose can be examined and your expectations can be managed appropriately.

Here are the facts:

1) only a small percentage of patients are candidates for non surgical rhinoplasty despite some doctors filling the nose without regard to nasal aesthetics and proportions.

2) Only safer fillers like Restylane should be used

3) The injections are from outside the skin just like botox injections or Restylane to lips or smile lines.  There is no point in injecting "endonasal" as it lacks precision and may end up with higher chance of infection.
